Aaaaaaaand I'm sick. Currently freezing and shaking my way through work with my throat full of glass, but I don't know how much of it is actual illness and some unholy combination of period and weekend screaming and that bag of chips I ate last night sitting poorly. Toughing it out! I just took a week off, and I'm trying to take it easy/keep to myself, answering my little emails as they come in. I'll bail later if I have to, but I'm still trying to make good impressions here.
Only managed to make it through the first hour of September to Remember before crashing out last night, which should have been my first clue that something was amiss, but I just chalked it up to ongoing sleep deficit until I woke up mad chilled and achy. Besides, I made sure to stay up long enough to get to the important part: the C&C/FTR faceoff about which all I have to say is that, while the botch is unfortunate and I hope he's healing up well, Christian dropping BECAUSE I'M RICH and immediately shattering Dax's nose into bloody dust is kind of an all-timer amazing mic drop of a moment and I am honoured to have been present for it. Also: very telling just how long he let Adam ramble on for before finally interrupting to grab his wrist. Also also: it's absolutely Cage & Cope, for a whole host of reasons.
7. How Well Do You Know Your Neighbors?
There are the ones on the left, who have lovely dogs and a nice yard, but occasionally run equipment to maintain said nice yard so my mom bitches about them incessantly, and there are the ones on the right, who constantly have loud screaming matches with the windows open and once their truck exploded in the night. Mom has no problems with those ones, oddly; just their big dead tree that she is convinced is going to fall on my bedroom one day. I am fine with not knowing my neighbours.
Okay, back to work. Or maybe I'll just quietly read at my desk for a bit? Cough cough.
